Our dream was to return to our roots in Croatia, the home of Vinka, and capture these gowns amidst the beautiful backdrop of the Adriatic. We chose Cavtat for our shoot location, a sleepy small town that is a stone’s throw from Dubrovnik, minus the hustle and bustle of the crowds. The narrow alleys, ancient architecture, crystal clear water, sunshine, and cobbled streets flecked with bougainvillea made our shoot spectacular. Every day was like stepping into a postcard. The Adriatic Sea and Croatian coast of our heritage played a big influence on our collection’s inspiration – fluid textures, sculptural silhouettes, and dramatic detailing. Like the Croatian coast that has adapted and transformed over time, we have designed this collection to be transient in nature. Staying true to our aesthetic, many of these gowns can be worn in different ways, honouring each bride’s unique sense of style and individuality. We hope this collection will be your source of inspiration.
