  • Custom Sizing: If you choose Custom Sizing, your gown will be made to the exact measurements you provide, with our full support throughout the process.

  • Rush Orders: Available for expedited processing – gowns will be shipped within 8 weeks from the date we receive your measurements.

  • Alterations: Gowns ordered in standard sizes may require alterations for a perfect fit.

We offer a variety of shipping methods to suit your needs, with costs calculated at checkout based on your destination and chosen shipping method. Complimentary standard shipping is available on all New Zealand orders, and for international orders over $500 NZD.

Please note that orders are processed within 3–5 business days, and shipping times will vary depending on your location and selected delivery option. You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order is on its way.

For international orders, customs duties, taxes, and any applicable fees are the responsibility of the customer. However, you will not be charged New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) on international purchases, as it will be deducted at checkout.

The Custom Sizing Experience:

  • Instead of selecting a standard size, we take additional measurements for a refined, custom-tailored fit.
  • We are happy to assist with measurements via Zoom and provide additional resources via email, including a detailed YouTube video to guide you through the process.
  • This service is ideal for brides seeking a more exacting silhouette or those requiring adjustments beyond our standard size chart.

To uphold the exceptional craftsmanship that defines Vinka Design, all Custom Sizing orders are subject to availability and approval by our atelier. Each gown is crafted with the utmost attention to detail, ensuring a truly luxurious fit.

Pricing & Considerations:

  • A $300 Custom Sizing Fee applies to most custom-sized gowns.
  • For more intricate designs requiring additional structure, fabric, or detailing, an additional fee may apply. Should this be the case, a tailored quote will be provided before proceeding.

While our Custom Sizing service is available worldwide, we invite our local brides to experience the artistry of our bespoke in-house service in New Zealand. If your unique silhouette requires a more tailored approach, our atelier is here to create a gown that is truly one-of-a-kind.

Take Measurements yourself

Measurement Area Description
BUST Around the fullest part of your bust, across the nipple.
UNDERBUST Measure directly under the bust, where bra underwire would sit.
WAIST Around the smallest part of your waistline.
HIGH HIP Around the hip bone, where hipster jeans would sit.
LOW HIP Around the fullest part of your bottom.
WAIST TO FLOOR Wearing your chosen heel height, measure from 1 inch above your belly button to the floor. Let the measuring tape just touch the floor.
SHOULDER TO BUST POINT From the middle of your shoulder to your nipple vertically.
UPPER ARM Around the fullest part of your upper arm.
ELBOW Around the widest part of the elbow.
WRIST Around the wrist.
SLEEVE LENGTH Have your arm straight down by your side and measure from the edge of your shoulder to 1 inch below the wrist bone.
