This collection is very much a special one for us with the passing of our founder Vinka Lucas back in August of 2020. We decided to honour her through this collection by making it a tribute to her legacy, naming it after her original bridal label, ‘Marée de Maru’. She has passed on to us her passion for working with beautiful laces, expert tailoring, and of course, her love of drama! She was never afraid to stand out and do something different in the pursuit of pushing the boundaries of New Zealand bridal couture, a philosophy that continues to inspire and guide our work.
